The Structural Heart Therapy
Consultant achieves sales revenue targets and grows market share for a
specified geography by promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic Structural
Heart and related products, post approval, while ensuring safe adoption and
growth. The Structural Heart Therapy
ConsultantTraineewill build
capabilities to practice good territory management with strong organization,
administration and expense planning and control.This part of our STEP, Sales Training Excellence Program.


**A DAY IN THE LIFE - POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**


+ Technical and Clinical Skill Set


+ Complete clinical/technicaltraining

+ Provide quality technical support to help sites achieve proceduralsuccess.

+ Provide technical support to Medtronic employees and implantingteams for Structural Heart implant procedures in accordance withMedtronic guidance

+ Knowledge of Clinical trial protocols, Structural Heart and otherMedtronic TAVR product IFUs for safe and effective use of devices.


+ Developand maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge. Understands current published TAVR andrelevant literature. Recognize andunderstand competitive products, industry trends, and CBT/CVG portfolio. Liaison with RD for technologyimprovements and next generation needs

+ Recognizeand understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to thecompanys products

+ Territory Management and Account Development


+ Complete sales training process

+ Provide quality support to help sites achieve procedural successand for the safe growth of Structural Heart

+ Develop and execute strategies and plans in support of sales quotafor assigned customers.

+ Develop customer relationships and gain trust to serve as technicalexpert for TAVR procedure and products.

+ Probe to understand and confirm customers needs, handleobjections and gain commitment.Develop and implement strategies to counter competitor messaging

+ Educate customers to ensure that products are understood and usedeffectively


+ Customer Service

+ Providecustomer/case support for assigned geography

+ Participatein physician training and case observations

+ Participatesin any other planned customer education meetings

+ Respondto customer requests and resolve complaints in a prompt and effective manner toinclude proper device complaint reporting

+ Maintainhigh standards of personal presentation and promote a professional personal andcompany image

+ Assistsites with identifying routine implant days and proper case scheduling

+ Training, Education and Professional Development

+ Participatein product and skills development programs, managing own self development

+ Administrative Responsibilities

+ Developand maintain accurate account and territory records

+ Responsiblefor Structural Heart inventory at sites to include shipments, usage and returnof product

+ Responsiblefor forecasting implants at sites and obtaining billing POs for each case

+ Submitsaccurate and timely expense reports

+ Reportdevice complaints to proper departments within quality assurance withinMedtronic

+ Schedulestravel arrangements to ensure multiple objectives are accomplished

+ Supportsheart teams with appropriate products, clinical literature and pre caseplanning strategy

+ Maintainhospital eligibility/access with various vendor credentialing services

+ Controlexpenses and adhere to company policies and procedures

+ Communication

+ Identify,establish and maintain productive working relationships with key decisionmakers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.

+ Maintainsa high level of communication with appropriate CVG sales and leadership withinassigned geography

+ Planand implement effective sales/product presentations to customers

+ Developand maintain productive working relationships within the company to ensuremaximum sales support and maintain a high level of customer service

+ Contributeto the development of a strong team effort

+ Communicatemarket intelligence/competitor activity promptly, including potential salesleads, and information regarding product price or account activity to DistrictManager and Area Sales Director or other appropriate company personnel

+ Ensurea professional standard of written and verbal communication at all times


**MUST HAVE - BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**


_IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASICQUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME_


+ BachelorDegree AND


+ 7+years sales or leadership experience in a corporate environment OR

+ 7+years Junior Military Officer with honorable discharge


*MUST be relocatable after 2 years


**NICE TO HAVE - DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**


+ Demonstrated success in previous sales role; indicating a highlevel of sales performance, influence and selling skills.

+ Strong leadership experience

+ Self driven, able to learn independently

+ Demonstrated ability to learn and articulate complex concepts

+ Mustbe able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
