The individual chosen for this position will serve as an expert operator for all NV testing processes and support Engineering projects and continuous improvement. The qualified candidate will plan, organize and execute engineering protocols and experiments and report results to engineers.

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Process prototype parts and engineering builds for operations engineering.

+ Document work as needed for engineering builds, using travelers, lab notebooks and computer software (such as Excel/Word) as needed.

+ Accurately execute build and test protocols.

+ Follow procedures, methods and sequence of operations in performing daily tasks.

+ Ensure all product, material, parts, and documentation are in compliance with company specifications and quality standards.

+ Actively contribute to ongoing continuous improvement efforts and projects.

+ Handle production materials and chemicals per operating procedures.

+ Perform tests, interpret data and develop reports.

+ Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

+ Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

+ Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed

+ Maintain overall lab in accordance with good laboratory practices.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Associate or Bachelors degree

+ Good working relationship with peers, managers and engineering staff.

+ Ability to read and comprehend instructions

+ Ability to write correspondence, email and memorandums.

+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

+ Ability to learn new machines and procedures. Familiar with automated machinery

+ Familiar with measuring tools and techniques.

+ Training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

+ cGMP and ISO 9001 training

+ Familiar with SAP, QAD and Agile

+ Basic knowledge of 5S and A3 methodology
