**A Day in the Life**


The Field Service Supervisors main purpose is to development and supervise the Field Service Teams across Canada and supporting our customers and the Technical Service Manager.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


+ Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.

+ Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

+ Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

+ Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.

+ Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

+ Supervision of the Field Service Team on various Medtronic large capital devices.

+ Assist with creation and obtaining required spare parts for devices supported.

+ Support Sales evaluations.

+ Help develop a training program for Medtronic Technical Service staff and customers.

+ Track Field Corrective Actions and liaise with RA/QA.

+ Assist the Technical Services Manager in developing and achieving realistic forecasts and budgets.

+ Recruit, coach, evaluate and motivate the field service force and instill a positive perspective and team spirit.

+ Conduct field visits with representatives, ensure proper pre and post service calls analysis and provide constructive feedback.

+ Conduct performance reviews with team members, set objectives and strategy for each territory.

+ Work in the Field across Canada or in the Repair Center as required.

+ Maybe required to train customers or Medtronic employees on various pieces of capital equipment.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ A Bachelors degree is required.

+ A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.

+ Has previous work experience with scheduling teams, prioritizing work, coaching employees and process execution.

+ Ability to take initiative, move with agility and have a positive attitude.

+ Excellent organizational skills.

+ Experienced and strategic problem solver.

+ Very good business sense.

+ Strong computer skills.

+ Ability to travel 30 40% of the time.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required, French is an asset.


**Nice to Have**


+ Previous supervisor experience an asset.

+ Minimum 6 years of Field Service, hospital, or medical device company experience is required.
