As **Strategic Sourcing Program Manager** , you will lead and leverage cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects to support supply management strategies and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.


**A Day in the Life**


As a **Strategic Sourcing Program Manager** , you will provide project management and sourcing expertise to cross-functional, cross-divisional commodity teams.


You focus will be to:


+ Facilitate cross-functional, cross-divisional commodity teams in the development and execution of long-term strategies that will optimize Medtronic's position in terms of quality, cycle/response time, technology, risk, and total cost.

+ Mitigate risk, leverages technology and purchase power, improve processes and systems, and reduce overall cost of ownership and acquisition.

+ Negotiate, establish and monitor supplier agreements.

+ Analyze and evaluate supplier qualification results, report performance, and demonstrate component release readiness.

+ Participate in supplier component process developments qualification discussion, optimization, validations, testing and rectifications to ensure supplier qualification activities are on track according to project plan.

+ Identify potential roadblocks and technical risk in supplier component process qualifications that may have major impact to project deliverables requiring response strategies.

+ Act as resource to commodity management for supply capabilities sourcing in Singapore Asia Region for component commodities (plastics, metals, electronics, semi assy components, MIM etc).

+ Evaluate and complete submission to regulatory for supplier change request.

+ Coordinate all aspects of technological product transfers across sites based on unique product requirements across different departments: Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Engineering and Purchasing / Sourcing and Facilities / Environment Health Safety and HR.

+ Lead all communication between sites and track due dates by individual task in a project plan system.

+ Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree with minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or any highly regulated manufacturing industry.


**Nice To Have:**


+ PMP Certification is an advantage

+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.


**Your Profile:**


+ Experience in successfully leading projects or programs.

+ Ability to lead projects in a matrix structure

+ Project management experience (including experience in a leadership capacity)

+ Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area.

+ Understanding of various manufacturing process for metals, polymers, packaging, cleanroom supplies is a plus.

+ ISO13485 quality standard

+ Travelling to supplier and Medtronic manufacturing sites will be required.
