**MAINPURPOSE OF JOB**


The Trainer reports and receives daily management from
the Operations Manager with a dotted line reporting to TE Manager type 1
clinics (Global).


Train and support the (health care) employees during
their career at Diabetes Clinics. Ensure the training of employees with the aim
of keeping the quality and development of the care of employees within Diabetes
Clinics.


**MAIN JOBDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**


**Expertise**


+ **Trainingnew clinic employees to the desired level within our Diabetes Clinics**

+ **Developand apply redevelopment in staff: guidance, retraining, coaching and support ofemployees.** **Communication**

+ **Work inclose collaboration with the TE Manager Type 1 Clinics (Global), in thedevelopment of training that develops new and existing staff and equips them toundertake their work**

+ **Discussionabout training and coaching with the relevant employee(s)**

+ **Obtaineffective, relevant information by actively listening and summarizing.** **Working Together**

+ **Consultationon training and development affairs with the QIC, Head Nurses and HeadDepartment and other staff members.** **Organization**

+ **Developlearning plans for all new employees, develop e-learning content for LearningManagement System and develop content for face to face training and othermodalities.**

+ **Deliverface to face training and presentations to all levels of clinical andnon-clinical personnel.**

+ **Responsibilityfor maintenance of content of Learning Management System (LMS) and allocationof learning plans dependent on job specification**

+ **Supporting,coaching and advisory role training new clinic employees**

+ **Designinga training plan for each new employee, assign a buddy and consult with traineeand buddy about progress regularly**

+ **Maintainingand developing the competence statements, monitoring quality of education,planning and training**

+ **Providesupport to existing employees, new employees' buddies, students and providetraining related to the Quality Management System (QMS). The work is guidedaccording to the current protocols.**

+ **Coordinationand driving development and documentation of care pathways, procedures andinstructions. Implement and provide information on new technical developmentsthat should be applied**

+ **Contributeto maintaining the QMS care-related part of the manual for training anddevelopment**

+ **Supportthe development of patient training curriculum, materials and resources andutilise a train the trainer approach to support clinical staff in deployingthese.**

+ **To provide direct line management to Diabetes Educators inDiabetes 360.** **Social action**

+ **Criticallyassess medical and nursing information regarding education and training**

+ **Participatein the development of scientific knowledge about diabetes and in promoting theimprovement of this subject knowledge.**

+ **Developand maintain personal and professional education and training plans for clinicstaff**

+ **Promotethe expertise of students, colleagues, patients and other others involved incare and care providers for diabetes.** **Professionalism**

+ **Provideoutstanding support to new employees and students**

+ **Displaypersonal and interpersonal communication skills and professional behaviour**

+ **Know theboundaries of their own competence and act within them.**


**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**


+ Diplomain Nursing/Registered (GNM) Nurse, preferably with the certificationpaediatric nursing

+ Additionaltraining as a diabetes nurse/educator would be an asset. This training canbe followed (in consultation and planning) at our facilities in Diabeter,The Netherlands

+ 3 yearsexpertise in the field of diabetes care

+ Hasa thorough knowledge of the healthcare environment and has insight intotreatment theories, treatment methods and course of the disease

+ Experiencein leadership, "Train the Trainer" concepts are desirable.

+ Fluentin written and spoken English and Arabic

+ Self-starter,comfortable shaping priorities and agenda

+ Trainingand education programme and content development and delivery

+ Strongorganisational and time management skills

+ Analysingand interpreting data, trends and information

+ Provenability to influence, coach, support and empower patients and healthcareprofessionals.
