The Domestic VMI team drives value to our customers by continuously replenishing and manage their inventory of MITG products

**A Day in the Life**

As the Sr. Supply Chain Planner, you will coordinate continuous replenishment plans to the customers and manage the supply chain functions required to achieve objectives for service, inventory management, and operating goals.

You will:

Manage the process of VMI replenishment, ensuring system accuracy.

Act as a primary contact of our VMI customers.

Coordinate and communicate with the customer to develop replenishment plans to achieve the target service and inventory levels.

Collaborate in the generation of strategic plan to excel on service delivery target.

Provide leadership as it relates to new projects, or existing projects.

Interact with departments managing the projects from the supply chain perspective.

Facilitate communications between demand planning, supply planning and marketing.

Lead and coordinate supply chain performance review meetings with the customer or internal stakeholders.

Own master data accuracy for areas of responsibility ensuring proper system alignments and requirement signals.

Identify and participate in the resolution of issues by employing strong analytical and planning skills.

Drive operation metrics such as service delivery, inventory days of stock on hand, on time performance, cancelled lines, MDM issues and Forecast consumption.

Manage inventory to maximize service and minimize investment.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ 4 + years demonstrated experience in the supply chain or related field.

+ Knowledge of distribution, logistics, warehousing and transportation.

+ Rigorous mathematic and/or analytical skills demonstrated through educational or professional background.

+ Experience with the entire Microsoft Office suite of products, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

+ SAP APO SCM experience.

+ APICS certification.
