This position is within the Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Sensor RD team. In this role, you will be supporting the development of next generation CGM products and sustaining RD. You will be responsible for leading the Failure Analysis efforts throughout different phases of sensor product development while contributing towards sustaining, continuous improvement, and development activities.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE:**

Troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of failures in complex microfabricated electrochemical bio-sensors

Develop, record, and perform various failure analyses on systems and components to determine failure mechanisms and ultimately root causes of failure

Write formal analysis reports, resulting in clear and accurate messaging about analysis findings to both the submitter and a broader audience

Use working knowledge of failure modes of products to work with technicians and other RD engineers to assess existing and potential failures

Work with RD and quality engineers to identify opportunities for improvements in product quality, reliability, manufacturability, and functionality

Initiates and leads the efforts on implementing improvements identified as a part of continuous improvement

Obtain, interpret, and utilize data from formal test, complaint handling, and other document repositories

Develop new test methodologies to aid in the failure analysis of components and products

Identify and research component system failures in the early stages of product development to improve product quality and reliability

Conduct hands-on lab work, define failure analysis strategy, and recommend corrective actions/fixes to failures at different phases of product development

Development of analytical methodologies and equipment acquisitions to ensure strategic failure analysis capabilities for future technologies and products

Contribute to development of continuous glucose monitoring subsystems as relevant to the group goals


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

**BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

**IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME**

Bachelors degree required

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience


**NICE TO HAVE:**

Experience in using Statistical analysis tools;

Experience in 21CFR820 ISO13485.

Experience with MEMS, semiconductor fabrication and devices.

Proficient in DRM/DEMAIC methodologies

Strong hands-on experience with bench level test/measurement equipment

Experience working in a highly regulated industry
