**A Day intheLife**


As a Sr. RD Project Engineer, VV youll be leading teams in the Verification Validation Center of Excellence (VV COE) to support Medtronics flagship surgical robot, Hugo. You will be driving multiple projects through the VV COE in a very visible and fast-paced role.


**You will:**


Working on the Medtronic Campus in North Haven, CT, you are responsible for:


+ Leads or leverages cross functional VV COE teams to evaluate, develop and manage VV portions of projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.

+ Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects with the VV COE and serves as liaison between project management, planning and project team.

+ Manages the development and implementation process of a companys products and services involving the VV COE; focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.

+ Reviews status of VV portion of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

+ Monitors the VV portions of a project from initiation through delivery.

+ Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

+ Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, functional managers and stakeholders.

+ Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.


**Must haves: Minimum requirements** :


+ A Bachelors Degree and 4 years of relevant experience


**Nice to haves:**


+ Experience with highly regulated and/or safety-critical systems is required (medical device experience strongly preferred)

+ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong leadership skills

+ Comfortable working in a fast passed, cross disciplinary environment

+ Ability to discuss technical details with engineering staff, the ideal candidate will have a strong engineering and product development background.

+ Ability to create and track a project budget and timeline

+ Familiarity with development and testing of capital medical devices


**Working Conditions**


+ Standard office setting, surgical lab, operating room, pilot lab, external research organizations, supplier visits, limited travel as required.

+ Based in North Haven, CT USA
