**A Day in the Life**

As an important member of the Operational Excellence team located onsite in Mystic-CT, reporting to the Site Leader, you will lead continuous improvement deployment for OpEx at the facility.

The Sr.Operational Manufacturing Excellence Analystwill have the responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Deliver and/or manages projects assigned and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals. Most of the time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).

+ Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

+ Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.

+ Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

+ Collects data to identify root cause of problems.

+ Measures performance against process requirements.

+ Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.

+ Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.

+ May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

+ Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.

+ Communicates team progress.

+ Performs cost and benefit analyses.

+ This role is required to be Onsite 100% of the time.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experienceor an advanced degree with 2 years experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Six Sigma Black Belt Certification(Highly preferred)

+ Experience in implementing lean manufacturing and six sigma project methodologies

+ Prior experience in medical device industry

+ Process improvement and cost savings success

+ Knowledge of Engineering, Project Management, Lean Principles, Six Sigma,

+ Ability to Coach and facilitate

+ Knowledge and skills in statistical software packages
