Lead a Program Management Office (PMO) and a team of Program Managers for the Global MICD Operations organization that focuses on delivering complex, global, multisite multi-year manufacturing strategy projects across our plant network. The role will also have responsibility for driving continuous improvement in PMO functional excellence including training, processes, and tools that are utilized by Project Managers across the MICD Operations organization.


**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


+ The PMO Senior Director position requires deep Operations knowledge and broad cross-functional knowledge paired with comprehensive business management skills to provide direction and leadership to project leaders and teams. The Program Leaders reporting to this Senior Director will lead teams that include members with expertise from disciplines including: Operations, Finance, HR. CM, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sourcing.

+ Leads and manages MICD Operations Strategic project portfolio, including direct management of multiple program leaders and indirect management of Operations-wide Program leaders to drive functional excellence and project execution.

+ Plays a key role in the process for defining the manufacturing strategy that results in the portfolio of projects that are evaluated for investment including transfers, divestitures, acquisitions, and integration of businesses and technologies.

+ Manages an overall Project Management Office (PMO) for MICD Global Operations with well-defined reporting, sponsors and meeting cadence. Harmonize and standardize project managements practices across the global organization utilizing common tools and systems

+ Balances the WHAT the HOW: Achieves core project metrics in cost, quality, service, and safety, while inspiring simplicity, accountability, recognition and a driven to win attitude across the organization.

+ Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes.

+ Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

+ Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

+ Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

+ Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

+ Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with 10+ years of managerial experience , or Advanced Degree with a minimum 13 years prior relevant experience, minimum of 10 years of managerial experience

+ Minimum 10+ Years in a Medical Device Manufacturing company or similar highly regulated industry

+ 10+ years of broad cross-functional experience in multiple areas including Manufacturing, Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain Planning, RD, Quality or Regulatory Affairs, etc.

+ 10+ years of experience managing project teams and\or functional teams

+ 10+ years in a role specifically focused on Program or Project Management


**Nice to Have**


+ Bachelors Degree in Engineering and/or Advanced technical degree or MBA

+ Excellent team building and communication skills

+ Knowledge of core manufacturing processes: Supplier Management, Process Validation, Design for Reliability and Manufacturability

+ Excellent skills and proven experience with financial required for running a manufacturing plant and transfer projects

+ Experience in continuous improvement including DMAIC and Lean Sigma processes
