In this exciting role as a Sr. Failure Analysis Supervisor, you will have responsibility for Failure Analysis personnel and all related departmental tasks. You will be monitoring all incoming products for proper receipt and escalation as necessary. You will ensure operational monitoring of all processes are measured and tracked accordingly. You will be responsible for minimizing backlogs and ensuring maximum throughput of the team. You will ensure all Corporate and departmental procedures/guidelines are followed. You will coordinate all daily activities and make adjustments as needed to ensure coverage to support all returned products.

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Lead a team of failure analysis technicians responsible for investigation of returned products across the Diabetes product portfolio

+ Manage/calculate and report out inventory aging/status

+ Participate in New Product Evaluation reviews

+ Manage time keeping for assigned personnel

+ Work directly with team to update inventory system

+ Monitor and report out daily output

+ Utilize inventory management systems

+ Set team goals and contribute to department goals

+ Coach and develop team members

+ Own or assist with CAPA related activities

+ Review team/departmental metrics to provide continuous improvement

+ Monitor and work with engineers on engineering escalations

+ Regularly review departmental processes and procedures for accuracy and improvements when applicable

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Bachelors degree and 3+ years of work experience in Quality/Manufacturing/Engineering and/or previous supervisory experience or Advanced degree with 1 year of work experience in Quality/Manufacturing/Engineering and/or previous supervisory experience

Medical device industry experience
