**Senior Director, Global Consumer Marketing, Diabetes**

The Senior Director of Global Consumer Marketing will lead a team to develop broad campaign strategies and positive brand sentiment for Medtronic Diabetes. This individual will be responsible for global coordination of social media strategy, digital marketing, and consumer campaigns for patients and providers. They will have strong people leadership skills and drive execution with a team of direct reports, partnering closely with Global Communications, Regional Leadership, and Global Marketing. This leader will also possess a global mindset to achieve alignment between the geographies and the strategic business unit.
This role will report to the Vice President of Global Customer Engagement Retention and be a vocal leader within the Customer Experience organization.
**A Day in the Life**
Develop comprehensive consumer campaign strategy to drive customer awareness and achieve revenue targets.
Partner with Global Communications and Marketing Operations to develop branding strategy for improved customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Develop annual and quarterly consumer marketing plans, to include social media and digital strategies tied to growth targets.
Drive global consumer campaign messaging, partner with with regions to tailor and execute.
Lead and manage Patient Ambassador relations
Collaborate on creative digital needs with regional marketing, serve as primary digital resource for US.
Determine KPIs and operating mechanisms to track campaign success and ongoing needs.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).
Leads and coordinates product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market
research activities.
Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities.
Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and
managing projects to completion.
Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products
from idea to market place.
Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships.
Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future ecommerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future
marketing promotions.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with 10+ years of managerial experience , or Advanced Degree with a
minimum 13 years prior relevant experience, minimum of 10 years of managerial experience
**Nice to Have:**
MBA and healthcare experience
Experience leading global marketing and social media teams
Proven track record creating and leading large consumber brand campaigns
Examples of annual and quarterly marketing plans with execution milestones
Ability to partner with and influence stakeholders across the matrix
