**A Day in the Life**


As a Sr. Data Analytics Engineer you will be a key contributor for modeling the Hugo RAS using large data sets from robotic systems. This involves creating sophisticated algorithms for estimation of parameters gathered under varying conditions from different systems, as well as determining statistical correlations leading to conclusions. In addition, the role will involve supporting the robotic design, software development, manufacturing, verification testing and service.

**You will** :


+ Work with large data sets from robotic systems to estimate physical parameters

+ Extract mathematical representations of robotic systems and components based on simulations and data gathered during manufacturing and surgery

+ Identify critical parameters and develop methods for parameter estimation

+ Provide methods for monitoring critical parameters under varying conditions over product life cycle

+ Evaluate stochastic tolerance stacks for performance and functional safety analysis

+ Define parameter boundaries for manufacturing and different stages in the supply chain

+ Identify correlations and develop methods for prediction of parameter changes over time

+ Support definition of requirements, component specifications and scoping of verification testing with statistical evidence

+ Provide input to manufacturing testing and service

+ Support software development and deployment of developed methods

+ Prepare reports and presentations to communicate technical assessments and analysis results

+ Generate technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies


**Must Haves: Minimum Requirements**


Bachelors Degree and at least 4 years of relevant engineering experience OR an advanced degree and at least 2 years of relevant engineering experience.


**Nice to Have**


+ Working knowledge of advanced analytics methods, modeling, advanced signal processing and machine learning methodologies

+ Experience with robotics and electro-mechanical systems

+ Proficient in scripting software such as Python, MATLAB and/or other signal processing tools and environments.

+ Experience in automating modeling and data processing workflows

+ Experience with Big Data and cloud computing

+ Ability to extract and present results to varying audience

+ Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively

+ Experience with cross functional teams, ability to collaborate across teams and engineering disciplines
