Join MedtronicsGlobal Material and Contract Manufacturing (GMCM) Strategy and Transformation team as the Sourcing Manager, in the exciting role, you will drive GMCM Governance models, work on Global Operations Supply Chain (GOSC) strategy flow down and run performance diagnostics to deliver and implement best in class development plans.


**A Day in the Life**


The Global Material and Contract Manufacturing (GMCM) Strategy and Transformation is part of the enterprise organization that supports the GOSC overall strategy. We strive to strengthen our governances, identify maturity improvement areas, run external benchmarks and think tanks, and lead the regional sourcing strategies to support GOSC endeavor to be best-in-class organization.


You will drive Market Intelligence and external Benchmarks for GMCM and beyond supporting the Global Material and Contract Manufacturing maturity and identify areas that should be developed or improved. We are seeking for a new angle too look at (not limited to): our scorecards, systems, processes, operating mechanisms, tools, and methodologies. As the Sourcing Manager, you will develop methods to run benchmarks with external companies, create think tanks and identify key market intelligence items we need to integrate in our strategy and transformation workstreams.


You will:


+ Represent the Global Materials Contract Manufacturing Strategies

+ Collaborate with other organization/functions verticals to organize benchmarks

+ Collect Market intel and benchmarks needs to design the methodologies (surveys, questioning workshop with other organization)

+ Source external organizations that will be interested in benchmarking with Medtronic

+ Organization workshop sessions (once or twice a year) with external companies and Medtronic GSM Leadership (preparation work, survey, data collection, NDAs, working sessions, reporting, follow up)

+ Organization a think tank with some of those organizations for more regular exchanges

+ Organization working sessions (internally) to report on opportunities and new programs or improvements to launch.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience


**Nice to Have**


+ Bachelors Degree and at least 7+ years of experience in Supply Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar function in in a large, multi-divisional corporation.

+ Experience developing and operationalizing strategy

+ Excellent abilities to facilitate workshops

+ Ability to lead change in a complex environment

+ Strong facilitation, influencing, organizing, and presentation/communication skills

+ Proven ability to achieve results through building partnerships and influence skills

+ Experience in forming and maintaining strategic alliances

+ Experience in cross-functional commodity teams

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Excellent assessment, analytical skills

+ Experience in conducting and developing materials foe workshops

+ CPIM Certification

+ Knowledge of FDA regulated industries

+ Proficient in new technologies / Solutions

+ Proficient in supply management process and product lifecycles

+ Previous experience in a medical device industry
