Medtronic Diabetes has an opportunity for a Software Development Engineer in Test to be a member of software test organization for Medtronic Diabetes products. Under general supervision from the Engineering Manager, this individual will serve as a member of the larger software test and development organization with responsibility to execute software test processes and procedures.

**A Day in the Life**
+ Develop efficient test strategies to verify and validate embedded devices and the data collected through them.
+ Develop test designs and automation scripts using the automation framework to accelerate our release cycles.
+ Follows internal standard procedures (SOP/DOP) related to software development and test processes.
+ Utilizes end user and product usage scenarios for reference while executing software test procedures.
+ Applies basic knowledge of software VV methods for safety critical, fault tolerant real-time software and embedded software engineering and formal qualification process
+ Applies understanding of test tools to execute assigned tests
+ Other duties as assigned
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree required
+ Minimum of 2 years of Engineering experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
**Nice to Have**
+ Experience in a scripting language such as Javascript, Python, etc.
+ Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
+ Experience in test development and automation.
+ Experience investigating post-release problem reports
+ Experience testing web applications across multiple OS environments
+ Experience coordinating with remote teams
+ Experience working in a regulated industry
+ Critical thinking and change agility
