The Medtronic Spine Sales
Education and Training team is seeking to hire a talented Senior Training and
Education Specialist for our in-house Sales Education group. In this role, you will focus on developing
training material, delivering training content, and managing digital education
projects to support the launch of new products, showcase our innovations for
employees, and drive innovative training experiences for our industry-leading Spine
Sales Team and Employees. You will
partner with cross-functional teams to create and deliver curricula in person
and via digital/virtual programs. These
programs will drive Spine product expertise, enable our field teams to sell in
a consultative manner, influence adoption of procedural solutions, and provide
technical support in the operating room.

**A Day in the Life**

_Training Materialsand Methods_

+ Develop new learning content and delivery options

+ Establish digital and virtual training and education programs

+ Manage quality control process for training materials

_Deliver Training_

+ Lead events that require significant technical skills

+ Partner with multiple groups on training programs/projects

+ Provide additional team support during training events

+ Travel requirement: Up to 30%

_Faculty Development and Planning_

+ Engage Health Care Professional (HCP) Consultants as program faculty

+ Plan HCP Consultant usage based on needs of business

+ Manage HCP Consultant contracts for faculty activities

_CalendarBudget Management_

+ Determine training site locationsand training dates for live and virtual education courses

+ Secure lab settings based onvariety of factors

+ Manage training budget forassigned courses

Additional responsibilities may include
the following and other duties may be assigned:

+ Develop, plan, and execute product training programs for sales forcerepresentatives, field support personnel, and internal employees

+ Obtain information needed to prepare in-house training programs, preparetraining materials, develop course content, determine delivery methodology, andcoordinate the development of training aids

+ Ensure training programs meet company and education objectives

+ Maintain communication with participants to ensure effectiveness oftraining

+ Coordinate with other trainers and product staff with technical expertise

+ Continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and tokeep technical information up to date

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in training,sales, marketing or similar, or Master's degree with 2 years of experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Strong communication skills, both oral and written

+ Good interpersonal skills

+ Strong presentation skills

+ Effective instructional design skills

+ Experience developing digital/virtual education content

+ Experience in operating room and spine-related procedures

+ Sales experience

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive,enthusiastic attitude

+ Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and buildstrong working relationships
