Cardiac Rhythm and
Heart Failure offers devices and therapies to treat abnormal heart rhythms, as
well as cardiac diagnostic and monitoring solutions.


As a Scrum Master within the Cardiac Rhythm
and Heart Failure Software Organization, you are accountable for working with
your scrum team(s) and product owner to deliver capabilities that meet overall
business objectives using Agile methodologies.
This role is expected to lead scrum teams through the development of new
product capabilities, features, and solutions that support business strategies
and initiatives. This role will
continuously develop and improve software development and execution.


**Day in the Life:**


+ Facilitatesrelevant Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprintreviews, demos and retrospectives

+ Plans andcommunicates the team capacity for each quarter and sprint

+ Collaborates withboth the Product Owner (PO) and Product Development Managers (PDMs) to ensuresprint commitments are aligned to backlog priority, well-defined, and achievable

+ Continuouslymonitors sprint health, including issues and risks; coordinating discussions withstakeholders to review/update commitments when necessary

+ Manages taskmanagement tool and dashboards/metrics to ensure clarity and full transparencyregarding sprint health and team performance against commitments

+ Ensures scrumteam members maintain administrative hygiene to ensure dashboards/metrics areclear and actionable

+ Supports sprintdemos with the team to celebrate successes and align output with stakeholderexpectations

+ Facilitates retrospectivesessions with a feedback loop; resulting in continuous improvement

+ Collaborates withother scrum masters to improve Agile methodologies efficiency

+ Guides the team toself-organize for operation beyond the defined Agile/Scrum frameworks

+ Clears roadblocksand obstacles for the team

+ Protects the teamfrom changing priorities, communication, and other distractions outside of sprintcommitments

+ Promotescollaboration and teamwork across scrum team members, encouragingcross-training and team support when necessary


**Must Have:Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree

+ 4+ years experience as aScrum Master for software engineering teams or related project managementexperience


**Nice to Have:**


+ First level ScrumMaster certification (CSM, PSM I)

+ Regulatedindustry experience

+ Familiar withplanning tools like TFS, Confluence or similar

+ Strong verbal andwritten communication

+ Excels atbuilding strong relationships with scrum team, external stakeholders, andleadership

+ Scrum teampredictability, quality and velocity improvements over time

+ Transparency ofscrum team work in progress and completed work, as well as work that carriesover from sprint to sprint

+ Strategic communicationwith stakeholders outside of the scrum team

+ Feedback fromscrum team, Product Owner (PO), and business stakeholders

+ Experienceworking in distributed, global teams

+ Experienceteaching and coaching team members
