As Senior Project Manager in our EMEA Technology, PMO (Project Management Office) and Connected platforms team within Medtronic Diabetes Marketing and Strategy division, you will lead and coordinate key EMEA technology-oriented projects according to the business and digital transformation strategy, directly reporting into the Director Technology, PMO and Connected Platforms.

The EMEA Technology, PMO and Connected Platforms team within Medtronic Diabetes Marketing and Strategy division ensures support from design to project set-up and delivery of the technology enablers requested by the downstream central business teams and by the EMEA Diabetes region.

**A Day in the Life**

You will be an integral part of working with EMEA Patient marketing, EMEA HCP marketing, EMEA Reimbursement, Digital Centre of Excellence, IT EMEA and IT Global, Other team internal functions, Data Privacy and Legal EMEA and EMEA regions to coordinate all aspects of the assigned projects.

You will work closely with the other transformation program leaders outside Diabetes Business EMEA to ensure alignment between projects and programs.

You will regularly align with our regional digital marketing operations team (DCoE) to ensure smooth post rollout / handover to digital operations (Resources /KPIs / Reporting / Maintenance) or support for projects led by DCoE.

Travel up to 20%, domestic and international

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Support Marketing teams to define project scope and objectives

Work with cross-functional and regional partners to execute on key strategic projects

Give Marketing Teams methodology and process support to ensure project scope is captured and ready for project execution

Ensure the project or change is aligned with the overall business and technology strategy

Ensure the technical design and overall ecosystem architecture is aligned to support the overall transformation program

Formulate recommendations and presentations on short and long-range plans

Support resource prediction as to reach objectives

Manage resources in an effective and efficient manner cross teams and divisions with EMEA Marketing Teams and IT EMEA / Global

Prepare project budget based on scope of work and resource requirements, together with IT EMEA and EMEA DIB Finance

Develop and validate Business Cases for various projects assigned, together with other Marketing teams and Finance

Support approval of project cost (CAPEX /OPEX) and business cases through the internal process with key stakeholders

Track project costs in order to meet budget

Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan together with the other stakeholders

Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders (MS Leadership team, DIB EMEA Leadership Team) about strategy, adjustments, and progress

Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers when needed by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

**Must Haves**

MSC degree required

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry

Knowledge of diabetes medical device industry or pharma.

Experience executing complex projects from start to end in a multi-stakeholders / multi country environment.

Strong track record of high achievement against current/past objectives.

Strong organisational and time management skills

Flexibility: multiple and changing priorities

Candid, ethical, patient and customer-focused

Strong understading of IT ecosystems

Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision

Outstanding communication/interpersonal skills, a team player able to collaborate across different functions within a complex matrix organisation.

**Nice to Haves**

PMP certification or equivalent

Direct to Consumer experience

Strong Product knowledge in the Diabetes device product area

Sales / Technical Related Experience in Diabetes

Global experience
