Within Enterprise Excellence, the Enterprise Business Services (EBS) team is a Center of Expertise (COE) providing business services and capabilities that support the execution of Enterprise Excellence initiatives across Medtronic.


The Senior Manager will play a key role as a critical member of the EBS Strategic Transformation team. The role will serve as a transformation advisor and change enabler providing support to key Medtronic leaders for an assigned Function /Region/Group. The work involves working with the Director, Strategic Transformation, understanding the key imperatives from the Function /Region/Group Strategic Plans, driving ideation and design of programs that enable achievement of desired outcomes, and facilitating deployment of alternate delivery models (Shared Services/ COEs, Process Excellence, Automation, and BPO).


This role will report directly to the Director, Strategic Transformation.


**A Day in the Life**


In this fast-paced, highly collaborative role, you will:


+ Partner with the Director Strategic Transformation, to understand the key imperatives of the functions or business groups supported

+ Evangelize the need for operating model transformation and deployment of alternate delivery platforms (Shared Services / COEs, Process Excellence, BPO and Automation ) to support achievment of strategic outcomes (Improve patient /customer service experience, loyalty, and revenue. Enable savings, ongoing leverage, and improved cash flow. Improve effectiveness and impact of functional excellence programs).

+ Facilitate development of high-quality, transformative solutions and business cases that deliver on the key imperatives and are aligned with Enterprise Excellence imperatives and EBS goals

+ Provide BPO engagement support to include - advise and facilitate vendor selection, RFP creation, negotiations, finalization of contract terms in partnership with the enterprise procurement team.

+ Support development of Transition plans and documentation aligned with the Transition framework and playbook for migrating work to Global In-house Centers or BPO vendors

+ Support the program team develop, execute, and maintain a highly detailed, fully integrated/cross-functional project plan using Project Management tools to drive adherence to scope, schedule and budget requirements

+ Actively participate and contribute in Transition Governance and reporting to ensure proactive risk identification, escalation and resolution of issues

+ Partner with Vendor Management to ensure that projects have smooth hand-off from transition to steady-state.

+ Organize and maintain project documentation within the common EBS repository

+ Travel requirement: 20%


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors Degree and 7+ years of experience or Masters degreeand 5 + years experience in one of the following area

+ Consulting for Operating Model Transformation (GBS/BPO/Intelligent Automation) in a top tier professional services/ BPO firm

+ Key Account management in a top tier professional services for BPO / Intelligent Automation services

+ Leading a transition / service delivery function for a GBS organization of a Fortune 500 Co or a leading professional services


**Nice to have**


+ Ability to work independently, or in groups, as the lead participant; ability to work well with Business Leads, Process Managers, Vendors and End Users in cross functional / matrixed environments

+ Experience working in matrixed teams responsible for influencing and communicating at all levels within the organization

+ Lifesciences Industry Experience

+ Success as an advisor, project team participant and/or internal change agent supporting large complex programs within large matrixed oriented corporations or leading consulting/ BPO organizations.

+ A proven and trusted advisor who understands both the qualitative and quantitative benefits of actions and opportunities for the function they serve as well as the functions stakeholders.

+ Confident and assertive style, but respectful of others. Must be team oriented and able to adjust leadership style to maximize effectiveness.
