This position will lead a team of software engineers, cloud technical architects in the Global IT Shared Services Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) focusing on both private and public cloud platforms. This position will be responsible for the continuous improvement and professional development of the team, providing technical leadership and mentorship, and helping design and build future cloud services. They will manage the software development in support of the integrated software/hardware solutions that our Global IT Shared Services delivers and operates. Core areas of responsibility include team leadership, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and collaborating with the CCOE partners and stakeholders. oActs independently within the CCOE team

oFoster a customer service culture through proactive engagement, leadership, and the creation of a strong sense of accountability within the team

oWork with key stakeholders to identify, define, and drive product release plans

oRecruit, manage, mentor, and develop a best-of-class engineering team

Relationship Management:

oEstablish and maintain strong relationships with IT leadership and IT business customers

oWork closely with direct and virtual global members of the CCOE team and CCOE external partners

oManage stakeholder expectations

Individual Accountabilities:

oBuild and lead a talented development team; identify and establish training requirements to support internal employee promotion opportunities

oCoach and mentor team members ongoing

oBuild methodology to create and offer cloud based products

oEnsure high quality design, code, and test reviews and drive critical review feedback

oDrive multiple initiatives using agile methodologies

oManage risk and help the team navigate challenges

oContinuously drive technical and process improvements

oPartner with cloud operations team to deliver supportable products

oDive deep on both technical and business issues

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


Bachelor's Degree


7+ years of IT experience with a Bachelors

5+ years of IT Experience with a Masters

**Nice to Have:**

A passion for transformation

Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous environments

Considerable software development team and process management experience

Experience with agile development methodologies

Experience building scalable, cloud-based platforms

Experience hiring and developing a high performing team

Must be able to work with senior level management and executives to clearly communicate the direction and plan for the team

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to take a holistic view of the overall software development lifecycle and understand the critical success factors in delivering software projects

Experience using and building scalable, highly-available applications with cloud services

DevOps operational experience with scalable cloud-based applications

Familiar with building secure software using modern security principles

Experience building scalable applications with cloud technologies

Experience developing continuous integration, test, and deployment infrastructure
