Manager for the Multiple Daily Injection Systems business unit, you will be helping
to shape the direction of the business unit and drive upstream product
management. This unique business
combines digital health and traditional medtech - app development and patient
focus. You will work with various
functions to develop new products via collaboration with Product Marketing, Regional
counterparts, RD, Regulatory, Clinical, and Business Development.

Key responsibilities include: understanding and
defining customer VOC to drive upstream product development, providing
commercial leadership for product pipeline, and strategic commercial planning
for individual products and programs

**A Day in the Life**

Product Strategy New Product Development

+ Support product development decisions forcurrent and future MDIS products.

+ Through deep understanding of currentbusiness, be able to articulate future steps needed to continue the growthtrajectory of business.

+ Generate business plans, market requirementsdocuments, presentations and supporting materials to align all functionalgroups behind a common vison products for development.

+ Workswith other functions to finalize product specifications.

+ Lead global product planningwithin the category understanding and analyzing competitive landscape.

+ Drive claimsdevelopment for current pipeline products.

+ Understand andoptimize patient experience with product.

+ Provide portfolioscenario planning and value assessment.

+ Conduct market researchto uncover customer and business insights; translate those insights intoproducts and programs that deliver growth for the product category.

+ Represent thecategory during medical conferences, sales meetings, and customer visits.

+ Determinesthe profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements.

+ Maintain strongtherapy and product knowledge; support internal and external customer educationprograms and product training as required Basic Qualifications

+ Travel approximately25%

Cross-Functional Team Participation

+ Participate in cross-functional teams tooptimize future product strategy around given business needs, market needs,customer needs and technical capabilities.

+ Work with other marketing partners tounderstand unique customer business needs and ensure product requirementsare aligned with global products and strategies.

+ Interact with Business Development team toidentify acquisition, licensing and other partnership opportunities .

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in marketing, engineering, related consulting or similar, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years'

**Nice to Have**

+ MBA in business or marketing preferred

+ Bachelors degree in Science or Engineeringfield preferred

+ Diabetes product knowledge is a plus

+ Experience in digital health / regulated digital is a plus

+ Experience in upstream marketing preferred

+ Experience learning technical productsquickly

+ Knowledge of medical device industrypractices, techniques and standards (e.g., role of clinical trials,reimbursement landscape)

+ Experience working in a fast paced, globalorganization

+ Global perspective and mindset

+ Strong communication and interpersonalskills with experience communicating with senior leaders.
