Are you a passionate, dedicated and a motivated Senior Financial Analyst looking for a new challenge? We are the heart of the day-to-day support of Medtronic's Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Finance team. We work with reporting and consolidations, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations and GA. **A Day in the Life**


Performs and analyzes financial modeling, economic research, trends and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost against budget, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and/or income statements.


Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compiles and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management.


May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit, division or group.


Prepare and analyze monthly product line performance and investigate changes in trends.


Monitor monthly actual spending and run variance analyses.


Support annual AOP and Strategic Plan activities.


Analyze profitability of major product lines and future product pipeline opportunities to aid determination of new products and discontinuation of current products.


Presentation development support for business reviews.


Provide ad hoc analysis as requested by marketing and other functions worldwide.


Create reporting and analysis that tracks our global capital footprint.


Assist in the market opportunity evaluation of new product development projects.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (2+ years with an Advanced degree)


**Nice to Have:**


Bachelors Degree in Accounting/ Finance


Software: SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, Hyperion Planning, RPT, and GFS


Experience in a manufacturing environment, Marketing or RD Finance or FPA preferred


Software: Intermediate Excel Skills, (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Data Manipulation, Multiple Embedded Formulas)


Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements


Ability to analyze financial queries quickly


Adaptable and responsive to multiple projects and changing priorities


Good teamwork skills and effective with all levels of management


Ability to communicate financial topics to non-financial professionals


High level of integrity and accountability


Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communications skills


Able to handle highly sensitive information in a confidential manner


Ability to work independently with limited supervision to determine and develop approaches to solutions


Works effectively in a cross-functional and sometimes cross-GBU environments
