**Preference is for position to be based onsite in Northridge CA, San Antonio TX, or Minneapolis MN and will consider remote in the US.**

**This position is a remote-based position on interim basis due to Covid19 Pandemic. Upon approval of Return to Office site guidelines, this role will require the individual to work onsite.**

In this exciting position you will be interacting and partnering with a wide set of internal and external stakeholders to support the Diabetes Americas Organization. Along with this fast pace work, the ultimate satisfaction will be knowing that you will help shape the outcome of a patients decision on therapy options.

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Understand, model, communicate and explain results drivers to the Business

Actively participate to the financial closing, planning and forecasting processes

Partner with management in making decisions through complex data analysis

Prepare reports of findings and recommendations, compile and consolidate financial plans and provides insights to management.

Partner with other teams to facilitate standardization of processes and ensure robust reporting and analytics.

Seek and implement continuous improvement ideas.

Deliver special projects / ad-hoc financial reporting as needed.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 2+ years)

**Nice to Have**

Experience with finance applications such as Hyperion Essbase and SAP

Strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated proficiency in strategic thinking, change management, facilitation, and interpersonal effectiveness

Ability to interface effectively in a matrix environment with all levels of management, staff, and functions

High degree of initiative and self-motivation

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
