As a Senior DevOpsEngineer, you will be asked to design the next generation of our product. This is a hands-on role which requires coding. Our product suite spans from medical devices that a patient wears, to mobile apps, up to our back-end servers so this is a challenging task, and one that requires very critical thinking to ensure the system performs well

**A Day in the Life**


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


+ Collaborate with software engineering and QA teams to understand the needs and incorporate new requirements

+ Develop and deliver creative solutions that enable engineering teams

+ Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in multiple integration and test environments

+ Deploy applications to multiple integration, staging and production environments

+ Contribute to DevOps roadmaps, and strategies that scale horizontally and provide the balance between quality, efficiency, and usability

+ Evaluate existing processes tools for performance and functional improvement opportunities

+ Collaborate with remote teams and drive selected work activities with offshore groups

+ Communicate status regularly to peer and team leaders

+ Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities.

+ Determines systems software design requirements.

+ Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.

+ Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Sciences required

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience


**Nice to Have**


+ Automation first mindset

+ Knowledge of git, git workflows, and branching strategies

+ Experience with command line in Linux environments

+ Experience with scripting in - Python

+ Experience working in the cloud (AWS preferred)

+ Strong fundamentals and a solid understanding of software development life cycle

+ Hands-on experience with build and release pipelines using CI-CD tools like Jenkins and/or Gitlab CI

+ Experience with DevOps tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Docker

+ Familiar with SQL and interacting with databases.

+ Experience working in an Agile development framework

+ Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools

+ Strong written communication skills with experience writing concise, understandable technical documentation
