Primary responsibilities include building the
Medtronic Renal Care Solutions (RCS)CarpediemCardio-Renal Pediatric Dialysis Machinethrough
clinical engagement activities.


The incumbent will provide clinical leadership,
education training, and support to hospital organizations and acute
dialysis facilities demonstrating interest in Medtronic therapies. Focus will
be on successful education planning and implementation, active training using
sound pediatric CRRT techniques, program growth and continuous improvement in
practices and patient outcomes.


**A Day in the Life**


Presents formal educational programs related to, but not limited
to concepts, complications, troubleshooting, machine function, best
demonstrated clinical practices, and optimization of clinical outcomes.


+ Educates and trains clinicians,hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to pCRRTproduct portfolio and related procedures.

+ Provides trainingand resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training fortheir personnel.

+ Works with Field Sales tofoster and grow new business by presenting product line features toevaluation accounts.

+ Receives clinical inquiries bycustomers. Researches solutions to questions or problems(e.g.catheter, emergency troubleshooting support)

+ Provides the organization withclinical insights that improve the ability to meet emerging customer needsin pediatric CRRT.

+ Provides up-to-date informationon assigned product(s) to staff.

+ Serves as a liaison betweenClinical Support and Product Marketing to provide valuable feedback andinput on product improvement and future enhancement features.

+ Identifies clinical needsof assigned territory and communicates to applicable management.

+ Keeps abreast of currentaccepted clinical practices and maintains knowledge base throughprofessional training.

+ Provides clinical supportfor on-call periods to clinical staff and responds to clinical questions.

+ Builds productive workingrelationships.

+ May be responsible fortraining new hire Clinical Support staff, as needed.

+ Other duties asassigned.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelorsdegree required.

+ CurrentRN licensure required

+ Minimumof 4 years of critical care experience, or advanced degree with a minimumof 2 years relevant experience


**Nice to Have**


5+ years experience
in the critical care area using renal replacement therapy with at least 2 years
in pediatric CRRT experience.


+ Certification in critical care, nephrology nursing ordialysis nursing preferred

+ Willing to travel throughout the U.S. region. This is afield-based position.

+ Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds

+ Ability to stand for 4-hour presentations, sit and bendknees

+ Ability to travel to and from customer site locations

+ Valid drivers license and clean driving record a must

+ Candidate should have the following attributes:

+ Outcomes oriented (customer, patient, Medtronic)

+ Team player (internal and external) with stronginterpersonal skills

+ Demonstrate ability to identify, understand, and applyskills to meet clinical and business objectives

+ Computer literate

+ Time management, organizational skills for multipleprojects and travel schedule

+ Demonstrated flexibility, able to change schedule/planswithout notice, demonstrated grace under pressure
