We are hiring a Global Sales Training Education Program Manager to provide educational expertise to ensure the safe adoption and growth of Medtronic transcatheter heart valves and future structural heart therapies across the globe. This role is part of the Global Field Therapy Development team and will work with cross-functional teams to operationalize our Sales Training Programs including Sales Leaders, Downstream Marketing, new hires, Sales Effectiveness Leader and Field Sales Trainers to drive clinical field effectiveness, adoption of best practices, safe product and procedural support and market leadership in the transcatheter valve market.

**A Day in the Life**

**Program Management:**

Manages one or more large, established programs with generally defined program plans and delivery methodologies

Is accountable for overall program process, performance, and satisfaction from start to finish

Participates in establishing program learning objectives, agendas, timelines, milestones, and budgets

Develops and updates consistent processes that affect program management within GFTD

Strategic collaboration: program decisions are recommended discussed with sales training strategist and higher-level management

Provides strategic insight to Sales Training Strategist for continuous evolution of all SH sales training programs

Collaborates with SMEs to get updated content and materials

Partners with coordinators to ensure all training programs are fully supported for flawless execution

**Educational Program Support Expertise:**

Position will play a significant role in actual facilitation of field-based employees in the classroom, during QPOA, launch and annual sales meetings, thus requiring some travel.

Develops metrics for various training programs to measure education completion, tracking effectiveness.

Conducts needs analyses with all appropriate parties prior to the development of any new training program based on identified field training needs.

Ensures all attendees trainings, test/quiz scores and certifications are provided to the project coordinator to be tracked in master tracker upon completion.

Maintain high standards of personal presentation and promote a professional company image

**Training Operations:**

Share Pointe Site: housing of all training materials

Sales Training Team project tracking ownership-improve team efficiencies effectiveness

Sales Training Budget-actual variable tracking w/finance team support; Q report out to Director GFTD

**Must Have:**

You will need a Bachelor's degree and 7 years experience in a Medical Education, Training, Program Management, Marketing, Sales, Clinical or Technical role (5 years with Advanced Degree).

**Nice to Have:**

Advanced Degree

Medical device or healthcare industry strongly preferred

Previous Sales Training experience focused on building selling skills acumen

Project Management experience and/or PMP certification

Lean six sigma certification helpful

Field Sales Rep training or Physician training experience, ideally on transcatheter valves experience
