The Coronary and Peripheral Vascular business unit (CRDN/PV) is part of the Cardiac Vascular Group (CVG). Our customers are clinical and non-clinical, and mainly (but not exclusively) within the Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology specialities in Tertiary Centres and District General Hospitals. They include Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Hypertension Specialists, Interventional Radiologists, Cardiac Cath Lab managers, Theatre managers, Specialist nurses, Directorate managers and Procurement.

Our products and therapies are used in the treatment of patients with Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Hypertension.

The CRDN/PV team are responsible for establishing Medtronic as The Vascular Company to partner with to help Physicians reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease through leveraging our combined portfolio.

To aid this vision there is a constant focus on developing innovative solutions and a significant investment in RD across the combined businesses with both businesses having a strong pipe line of products and imaging solutions coming to market over the coming years.

Setting and execution of sales activities within this new business group has been clearly identified as an important CVG Growth Driver and the expectation is that the UKI CRDN/PV team will be The Leading Business across EMEA within this new Business Group.

**A Day in the Life**

The primary focus of this role is to promote and sell the Coronary and Peripheral Vascular portfolios within a defined territory.

Identifying, building and developing strong relationships with Clinical and Commercial Stake holders, continually keeping pace with clinical developments/changes in practice as well as the changing procurement landscape.

Responsible for pursuing leads and assessing customer needs, building individual strategic account plans to maximise the benefits derived from the Coronary and Peripheral portfolios.

**Role description:**

+ Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

+ Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including Commercial and Healthcare Professionals.

+ Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.

+ Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.

+ Conducts market research including customer and competitor activities.

+ Implements market development plans/strategies and changes them as needed.

+ Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including RD, Operations and Marketing.

+ Ability to work as part of a wider team

**Must Haves**

+ Bachelor or Masters degree or equivalent work experience

+ Proven track record in sales in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical environment

+ Excellent interpersonal skills

+ Ability to work in an operating room setting

+ Proven ability to effectively build relationships with a wide range of clinical and Non-Clinical stakeholders

+ A positive person with strong entrepreneurial skills who brings passion, energy and excellence in execution to his/her work

+ A team player with a track record of working collaboratively

+ Excellent written andverbal communication skills

+ Travel is required

**Nice to Haves**

+ Cardiology or Interventional Radiology experience.

+ Working knowledge of company products and services
