**A Day in the Life**

**Sales Manager CVP**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Promotes and sells Medtronics Cardiovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

+ Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors activities.

+ Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

+ Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians and relevant parties in hospitals and/or government.

+ Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronics Cardiovascular products and/or services.

+ Works with internal and/or external stakeholders such as Marketing, functional support and key healthcare specialists to discuss product features and benefits and ensure alignment.

+ Regularly meets with customers to assess future market needs and identify new opinion leaders.

+ Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including RD, Operations and Marketing.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience

**Nice to have**

+ Minimum of 6 years of relevant sales experience or advanced degree (MBA) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant sales experience. Minimum of 3 years of people management and leadership skill.

+ Requires practical sales, business development and management knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics for one or more products. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within the sales discipline, with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
