**Positions Objective Summary** **:**

The Customer Trainer will report directly to the Training Director in Robotic Customer Operations.This training professional will deliver **Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS)** technology training to surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties aligned with the core strategy. The Customer Trainer will be actively involved in the continuous improvement of training programs and provide support for customer training and training research initiatives.

**Roles Responsibilities** **:**

**Deliver training courses to Health Care Professionals (HCP) at designated training partner facilities.Topics will include:**

oIntroduction to robotic surgery, features and benefits and systems comparison

oSystem overview, instrument portfolio and accessories

oPre-operative phase

oPatient positioning , ports and Arm Cart set up

oIntra-operative use, surgeon and bedside activities and interactions

oConsole controls and activities


oPost-operative phase


Establish relationships with designated external training entities in targeted global geographies

Work with the marketing and sales training team in a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to improve existing training programs

+ SupportRAS System troubleshooting at the training center

+ Manage training center logistics, inventory and training calendars in conjunction with key stakeholders

+ In conjunction with training center staff, maintain all capital equipment, including but not limited to the cleaning and reprocessing of instruments and accessories

Develop expertise in the following:

oRAS System Technology

oRAS System applications and advanced technology

oOR Efficiency

oTraining Pathway process

oTraining/coaching techniques/methodologies

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required preferably in Clinical or Health Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Management, Engineering or Education

+ Clinical and/or operating room experience

+ Minimum of 5 years Medical-device experience preferably in robotic surgery, Capital equipment or equivalent technology

**Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience** **:**

+ Proven experience training on complex topics and/or technology

+ High capacity and excellent problem solving skills

+ Solid organizational skills and ability to operate independently

+ Professional work ethic

+ Solution oriented

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills

+ Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred

+ High capacity to learn in a fast paced environment

+ Commitment self-development

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Fluent in English. Ability to be flexible with hours of operation

+ Ability to travel up to 50%, including international
