In this exciting role as a Reliability Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work within the quality function on product development programs in the Structural Heart and Aortic Operating Unit. There will also be continuous improvement projects especially as they pertain to pre-market deliverables.


**Structural Heart and Aortic**


The Structural Heart and Aortic integrated operating unit offers minimally-invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valvesaortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspidand the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the bodys largest artery, the aorta


**A Day in the Life**


+ Supports new product development activities for next generation devices and technologies.

+ Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control processes for achieving required levels of product reliability.

+ Completes risk analysis studies of new design and processes.

+ Supports device adherence to product standards in accordance with regulations.

+ Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs.

+ Compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes.

+ Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.

+ As necessary, leads or participates in root cause analysis activities and proposes solutions to improve system and/or process reliability.

+ Analyzes preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve reliability objectives.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 2+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality OR Masters Degree Engineering, Science or technical field with 0+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality.


**Nice to Have**


+ Experience in Medical, Pharma or a highly regulated industry, etc.

+ Effective verbal and written communication
