Provides strategic commercial leadership for the Latin America Pain Pelvic Health business. In partnership with the Restorative Therapies Group (RTG), the Business Unit and the Geography, providing leadership and direction in strategic planning, design and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing plans, development of sales and market development objectives and tools, and support systems necessary to the success of sales and marketing. Manages a staff to ensure achievement of goals within budget that meet divisional and corporate goals.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop, present and manage the execution of an integrated business plan for the business unit products and services. This includes but is not limited to key strategies, identifying and providing customer and market requirements, tactics, financial objectives, budgets and staffing needs.

• Assure the company maximizes and optimizes its performance and operating objectives for specific products through the identification of market trends, competitive activities and business opportunities, and through the effective development and presentation of product specific market and development plans.

• Investigate new business opportunities to create value for the business unit and customer base and create demand for our products. Understand the international market dynamics and competition for new products. Optimize new opportunities.

• Establish and maintain relationships with our Key Opinion Leaders to ensure on-going flow of information on product needs and market conditions. Develop advisory panels and clinical relationships to guarantee linkages to new product development initiatives.

• Responsible for oversight of the Region’s Sales team and ensuring achievement against Sales Revenue and Profit targets.

• Ensure sales strategies are aligned to RTG and BU strategies and that support to the field is in place. This includes oversight of new product/market introductions, sales training programs, key surgeons/key account visit and attendance at key industry congresses and meetings.

• Oversee preparation of accurate and up-to-date forecasts for products and coordinate along the supply chain.

• Develop and reinforce compliance with strategy pricing strategies.

• Lead compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, including Field actions, recalls and other related requirements.

• Oversee direction of all advertising and public relations efforts to achieve marketing and business objectives.

• Oversee development and maintenance of market information system to include competitive analysis, market research reports, and company and product literature.

• Manages goals and development of team and responsible for managing diverse talent pool and supporting talent management.

• This role requires extensive travel 40-60%

EDUCATION REQUIRED

• MBA is required.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of increasing responsibility in a variety of positions focused primarily in product management and Sales for regulated industry.

• Strong preference for medical technology experience, medical devices segment preferred.

• A demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and planning required.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills required in English and Spanish. Portuguese language capabilities strongly preferred.

• Must have demonstrated experience in relationship building across constituencies, with a demonstrated ability to work productively across organizational matrixes.

• Possess a high level of energy and open management style.

• Prior success in managing people across levels is required, with strong organizational leadership capabilities.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Ability to anticipate and meet deadlines, handling multiple simultaneous deadlines, prioritizing work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to retain confidential information.

• Exhibits assertive demeanor; able to persuade difficult debtors to make immediate payment.

• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English required (reading, writing and speaking). Proficiency in Portuguese, a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently

• Prior experience in fast-paced office with multiple priorities.

• Excellent presentations skills.
