The
Customer Trainer will report directly to the Training Director in Robotic
Customer Operations.This training
professional will deliver **RoboticAssisted Surgery (RAS)** technology training to surgeons, first assistants,
and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties aligned with the core
strategy. The Customer Trainer will be actively involved in the
continuous improvement of training programs and provide support for customer
training and training research initiatives.


**A Day in the Life**


Deliver
training courses to Health Care Professionals (HCP) at designated training
partner facilities. Topics will include:


+ **I** ntroduction to roboticsurgery, features and benefits and systems comparison

+ System overview,instrument portfolio and accessories

+ Pre-operative phase

+ Patient positioning ,ports and Arm Cart set up

+ Intra-operative use,surgeon and bedside activities and interactions

+ Console controls andactivities

+ Troubleshooting

+ Post-operative phase

+ Reprocessing


**Additional responsibilities include:**


+ Establish relationships with designated externaltraining entities in targeted global geographies

+ Work with the marketing and sales training teamin a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to improve existing trainingprograms

+ SupportRAS System troubleshooting at the trainingcenter

+ Manage training center logistics, inventory andtraining calendars in conjunction with key stakeholders

+ In conjunction with training center staff, maintain allcapital equipment, including but not limited to the cleaning and reprocessingof instruments and accessories


Develop expertise in the following


+ RAS System Technology

+ RAS System applicationsand advanced technology

+ OR Efficiency

+ Training Pathway process

+ Training/coachingtechniques/methodologies


**Must Have:**


+ Bachelors degree required preferably in Clinical or Health Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Management, Engineering or Education

+ 5 years Medical-device experience in a clinical or operating room setting preferably in robotic surgery, Capital equipment or equivalent technology


**Nice to Have**


+ Proven experience training on complex topics and/or technology

+ High capacity and excellent problem solving skills

+ Solid organizational skills and ability to operate independently

+ Professional work ethic

+ Solution oriented

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills

+ Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred

+ High capacity to learn in a fast paced environment

+ Commitment self-development

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Fluent in English. Ability to be flexible with hours of operation

+ Ability to travel up to 50%, including international
