The Cardiac
and Vascular Group brings all of our cardiac and vascular businesses together
into one cross-functional, collaborative operating unit to employ the full
breadth of our talent, technologies, products, services, and solutions to
address the needs of customers and patients across the globe.

Rhythm and Heart Failure offers devices and therapies to treat abnormal heart
rhythms, as well as cardiac diagnostic and monitoring solutions.

We are
looking for a talented Senior Level DevOps Engineer for our Cardiac Rhythm and
Heart Failure (CRHF) Software division. This engineer will help us in fostering
a mantra of DevOps as a Culture across a multi-team Agile Scrum
organization. The right person will be
our go to person for implementing our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code,
and to continuously look for opportunities to increase our productivity and
quality of our software releases.

Day in the

Architect, build, and test
microservice-based applications, distributed computing, and high-performance
computing in Global Cloud Infrastructure as a Service environment

Utilize test driven development
practices to develop secure, scalable, highly available, and self-healing cloud
infrastructure environments that leverage cloud native services

Execute DevOps CI/CD pipelines
and maintain consistent environments across critical applications

Collaborate with development
teams and internal stakeholders to specify operational characteristics and
support of complex infrastructure

Provide subject matter expertise
and guidance to identify new technologies and tools to utilize on a go forward

Troubleshoot network and
performance issues in large scale distributed systems

Drive change through new technology
adoption and re-engineering where necessary to support continuous improvement


**MustHave: Minimum Requirements**

B.S./ Computer
Engineering/Science or technically related

Minimum of 7 years of relevant
experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

**SpecializedKnowledge Required:**

Hands-on experience in deploying
and operating infrastructure components in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure

Hands-on experience in
architecting and building Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS and Azure

Hands-on experience developing
and maintaining CI/CD automation processes pipelines

Hands-on experience with Big
Data technologies like Kafka, Elastic, hBase/Hadoop, Ambari

Hands-on experience with
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) languages like Terraform or Ansible

Hands-on experience developing
dashboards/alerting via CSP native and ELK tools

Programming expertise - can
write scripts from scratch in Python, bash or similar language

Experience managing cloud
scalability or a mission critical environment

**Nice toHave:**

AWS Architect or AWS DevOps
Engineer Certification

Experience in deploying/managing
software to on-premises, co-located, cloud, and hybrid cloud.

Experience with version control
systems with Git such as BitBucket or Azure DevOps

Experience with monitoring tools
such as Splunk, AppDynamics, DataDog, etc.

Working knowledge of security
technologies in a large, distributed, containerized environment; RBAC, SAML,
Kerberos, Ranger policies

Well-developed social skills to
build alliances around DevOps goals and accelerate processes.
