**POST MARKET VIGILANCE DATA REPORTING MANAGER**

This position is in Medtronic’s MITG Quality organization. The incumbent will lead a team of business analysts responsible for executing and improving Medtronic’s Post Market Surveillance process.

As the **Post Market Vigilance Data Reporting Manager** , you will be responsible for managing personnel and processes associated with Post Market Vigilance (PMV) data analytics reporting. Cross functional groups will rely on the outputs of your team to make data driven decisions in a timely manner.

**A Day in the Life**

+ Oversee ad hoc reporting intake process

+ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify and fulfill data requests

+ Participate in strategic decision-making and provide support for regulatory applications, reports, and submissions, including preparing, reviewing and approving documents and reports.

+ Develop, maintain, and communicate key business metrics on a recurring basis.

+ Prioritize ongoing projects and align the group’s objectives with the Medtronic’s strategic goals.

+ Manage staffing and organizational needs; mentor, develop analytical expertise, continue to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the data analytics group.

**Must Have; Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor’sdegree from an accredited college.

+ Minimum 5 years of relevant analytical reporting experience

+ Minimum 3 years medical device/pharmaceutical post market experience.

**Nice to Have**

+ Minimum 2 years management experience.

+ Experience with Business Objects and/or working with Oracle and SQL Server databases

+ Experience with complaint handling in the medical device industry

+ Prior experience interfacing with FDA.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical content to a variety of audiences

+ Ability to successfully balance and prioritize multiple ongoing projects/tasks

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ High degree of initiative and self-motivation

+ Experience with risk management

+ Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering

+ Advanced computer programming skills in at least one programming language such as C, C++, S+, R, SQL, etc.

+ Experience working with clients/user providing technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and creating business processes and workflows.

+ Experience providing consultation assistance to users/clients in automated systems.

+ Experience in Lean/Six Sigma
