As the Physician and Society Relations Manager, you will join the high-performing mission-driven Marketing team to help raise awareness and adoption of Pelvic Health Therapies. You will have clear ownership and leadership of critical physician marketing initiatives related to key opinion leaders, practice leaders and society engagement.


The Pelvic Health Gastric Therapies business is part of the Restorative Therapies Group at Medtronic. Our therapies treat incontinence-related conditions with sacral neuromodulation systems and percutaneous tibial neuromodulation systems. We also treat gastroparesis with gastric electrical stimulation systems.


This role is based at our Rice Creek site in Fridley, MN. Remote would be considered for very well qualified candidates.


**A Day in the Life**


+ Develop strategy to identify and select strategic physicianpartners. Work across the organization to create engagement plans that align tobusiness objectives and maximize partner strengths and interests.

+ Develop and implement strategies to engage key physician societiesto create partnership opportunities that further develop the market for PHGT.

+ Ensure organizational alignment to these strategies and engagementplans. Oversee implementation of engagement plans by collaborating with cross-functionalpartners (Medical Education, Sales Training, Marketing Communications, etc.)

+ Strategically focus on global industry thought leaders, practiceleaders, leading healthcare centers, and their key associated medicalsocieties.

+ Organizescompany-sponsored symposia for consultant and advisory board meetings

+ Effectively engage directly with customers (clinicians) atcongresses, during physician visits, and as needed on projects.

+ Partner closely with sales organization to develop and implementstrategies and ensure commercial alignment.

+ Participate in budget development (AOP) process. Manage assigned,approved budget. Report variances.

+ Ensure compliance as well as appropriate departmental resourcesare available to effectively maintain the quality standards (people,facilities, tools, and training).

+ Travel approximately 35%


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelor's degree

+ 7+ years of relevant experience in a Marketing, Sales or Physician Relations role with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with a Master's degree

+ Experience interacting with Surgeons/Physicians in a business capacity


**Nice to Have**


+ MBA

+ Medtronic field experience preferably in Pelvic Health Gastric Therapies

+ Experience developing and implementing programs to grow the business.

+ Medical device, pharma or healthcare industry experience

+ Experience working across functional teams

+ Global marketing experience

+ Solid verbal, written and presentation skills

+ Excellent planning and analytical skills (financial marketing)
