**A Day in the Life**


The Program Manager is responsible for cross-functional project team coordination and leadership for various projects and programs related to business unit programs and product development initiatives. The Program Manager serves as the core domain expert within the product line with responsibility for managing all phases of phases of design and development of new products or solutions to our patients and customers from product definition through production and release.


This role will interface extensively with the China Regulatory, Clinical and Marketing teams to develop and maintain business relationships and accomplish various tasks related to product development, submission, and commercialization. The position may require international travel to develop and maintain relationships and accomplish business outcomes


Accountable for overall program planning and execution

Responsible to a program level core team concurrent to responsibilities driving one or more project level leadership assignments

Interacts with internal partners and external vendors to deliver a product

Monitor progress toward pre-established objectives, assesses risk and implements strategies to ensure successful delivery of the product(s) that align with organizational goals.

Maintain effective communication with the business sector leadership team, team members and functional leadership in all activities required to design, develop and deliver the product successfully.

Ensure effective transition to relevant manufacturing, distribution, and commercial entities.

Ensure the quality policy/system is planned, understood, implemented and maintained by ensuring compliance within the department.

Ensure departmental compliance as well as appropriate departmental resources are available to effectively maintain the quality system (people, facilities, tools, and training).

Manage daily execution of project/programs including critical path tasks, budgets, resources, and risks.

Work with functional core team members to ensure clear communication of project/program objectives, deliverables, and timing of key milestones.

Effective use project schedules and work breakdown to manage projectcritical path activities,

Manage execution of all design history and phase gate deliverables.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience


**Nice to Have**

Working knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools. PMP certification preferred.

Demonstrated strong business acumen and strategic planning. Ability to think and act from an overall best for the business perspective

Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening (with all levels of the organization with ability to communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully and present information to cross functional audiences and management confidently

Strong interpersonal, quantitative analysis, and problem solving skills.

Experience in leading within matrix organizations requiring strong influence management skills, with the desire to develop collaborative relationships within program level core team model and multiple functional organizations

Ability to effectively facilitate team meetings, create and deliver presentations, and drive meetings to action-oriented decisions.

Effective decision making skills -- experience negotiating and balancing decisions and priorities across needs of several functional departments and willingness to make tough decisions. Makes timely decisions in the face of risk and uncertainty.

Experience in leading virtual cross-functional teams.

Strong initiative; results oriented; strong sense of urgency. Ability to drive to completion in adherence to aggressive project schedules.

Enthusiasm towards process improvements and change management.

Identifies and resolves issues in a proactive, creative, and timely fashion.

Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external customers/vendors.


Experience working in or with Asian countries, specifically China.


Professional language proficiency in Mandarin.

Track record of successfully leading projects to completion
