Position Summary

The
Pipeline Clinical Sales Representative will provide physicians with hands-on
technical training and case support, sales representative education and
training, and support efforts to achieve Pipeline sales objectives.

Principal Accountabilities

+ Assistfield organizations achieve/exceed revenue targets

+ Trainphysicians on Pipeline through hands-on workshops and didactic training

+ Providetechnical assistance to physicians during procedures, includingtroubleshooting and any other product related assistance

+ Helpsupport clinical product trials, registries, and physician preferencetesting at assigned sites

+ Developand provide in-service education and training for field organization,physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical mattersrelating to Pipeline and related products

+ Providefeedback regarding training programs

+ Organizeand implement focused events to promote training, education, anddiscussion around the Pipeline Embolization Device – examples includeregional mentor forums, symposia and physician focus groups

+ Communicateinvestigator feedback relative to product performance, enhancements, andnew product development ideas

+ Forwardmarket and competitive intelligence back to marketing and other fieldorganizations

Qualifications

Experience:

+ 5+years Medical Device Sales Experience with an invasive procedure product(OR, Cardiology, Radiology) and successful quota achievement. 5+ years of Clinical Sales experienceand successful goal achievement may substitute for 5+ years of MedicalDevice Sales experience.

+ Minimum3 years’ experience in the direct use or design of medical devices (e.g.,cath lab, interventional radiology, EP lab, product development).

+ Prefera proven track record with technical training assignments

+ Experiencein the management of clinical trials desirable

+ Mustbe able to periodically work weekends, evenings and nights

+ Mustbe able to travel 70-80%

Education:

+ Bachelor’sdegree in business, engineering or health sciences.Six years’experience in cath lab may substitute for bachelor’s degree.

+ MBAand/or health care experience (e.g., RN, tech) preferred

Job Competencies:

+ Strong clinical knowledge basein anatomy, physiology, and interventional neuroradiology terminology

+ Ability to develop strongrelationships with interventional team including physicians, cath labstaff, and study coordinators

+ Understanding of and experiencein U.S. clinical trial processes

+ Strong interpersonal skills toclearly and succinctly demonstrate products and procedures

+ Ability to make grouppresentations

+ Ability to interact with RDand marketing, to represent the physician’s perspective on productenhancements and new product development opportunities
