**A Day in the Life**

As a Monitoring Sales
Specialist, you will promote Respiratory and Monitoring Solutions (RMS)
respiratory compromise capital and consumable portfolio. As a goal-driven
Monitoring Sales Specialist, you are the primary person responsible for driving
revenue generating sales to key hospital personnel and the end customer.
Your primary responsibilities include accurately forecasting your business,
owning customer relationships, understanding and targeting customer product
needs, and developing and executing the sales strategy around those opportunities.

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Responsible for driving sales across the respiratorycompromise capital and consumable product portfolio to the General Careand Procedural Sedation areas of care, as well as the C-Suite level of ahospital

+ Aggressively drive new Remote Monitoring connectivitystrategy with our Health Informatics Monitoring (HIM) team andVitalSync product

+ Lead territory opportunity development and activitiesthat translate to accurate monthly, quarterly, and annualprojections. The Monitoring Sales Specialist will maintain soleownership of providing accurate forecasts to their Regional BusinessManager each reporting period for their territory

+ Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute effective salesstrategies that maintain the existing base of business and support theclose of competitive and revenue growth opportunities

+ Probe, develop, and close all related product salesinquiries/leads with existing customers within assigned geographicterritory

+ Coordinate and collaborate with regionally alignedfield sales team to drive incremental RMS revenue and achieve target salesgoals

+ Develop, negotiate, close, and manage profitableagreements

+ Effectively utilize and update sales tools toaccurately address trends in existing base of business, create callstrategies, and to manage territory and strategic business plans

+ Effectively deliver strategic messaging in a variety ofsettings, including trade shows, presentations, and board meetings

+ Provide product feature and benefit application consultation,drive value messaging, as well as clinical support

+ Lead the local team in the coordination and support ofclinical evaluations and pre-sales support

+ Assist Specialists and Clinical resources in post-saleactivities, including implementation, product education, in-servicing, andongoing support

+ Maintain and build customer relationships tounderstand, align, and support customer initiatives

+ Maintain detailed level of knowledge of relatedproducts and applications

+ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relatedprograms and value-added offerings

+ Utilize Specialist and Clinical resources in anefficient and cost effective manner to optimize sales process

+ Inform Regional Business Manager and local area teammembers of new account opportunities

+ Complete all assigned projects and administrativeduties in a timely manner

+ Consistently maintain all Vendor Credentialingrequirements

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-yearcollege or university

+ Minimum of 3 years of fieldsales experience

**Nice to Have:**

+ Medical device or medical capital sales experience

+ Documented sales success (achievement to quota) incapital equipment and/or consumables sales

+ Experience selling tothe acute care hospital environment

+ Able to quickly compile contracts with supportingfinancial business case

+ Knowledge ofhospital critical careandsub-acute care market

+ Proven ability to succeed in complex sales and clinicalenvironments

+ Strong computer expertise and business application

+ Thorough understanding of the sales process

+ Understanding of the medical sales arena

+ Strong verbal and written communication; exceptionalclient interaction skills

Travel required in
assigned region.
