**A Day in the Life**

**Main Purpose of the Job**

To provide marketing services of market intelligence with market research, competitive reports and market share tracking, based on which the marketing team can elaborate the strategies and execution plans. Other services on various marketing activities may need to be provided as ad hoc.

**Key Responsibilities**

**_Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned_**

+ Performs analyses in the areas of product preferences, potentials, sales coverage, market size, penetration, competitor assessments, marketing practices and trends, and prepares forecasts and recommendations.

+ Researches market conditions in assigned areas to determine potential sales of a product or service.

+ Keeps informed about developments in the government, economic, scientific, political, industrial, and international fields as they apply to the organizations future marketing plans.

+ Gathers data on competitors and analyzes their strategies, prices, sales, and method of operation.

+ Collects and maintains information on the requirements, organization, budget, and preferences of prospective customers and competitors.

+ Organizes information to assist in analyzing future products and makes recommendations for the development of new products or services.

+ May compile and analyze statistical data on past sales and trends to forecast future trends and state-of-the-art changes.

+ Plans and implements product exhibits at conventions, exhibits, sales conferences, and/or symposia.

+ Arranges for specific events at national conventions and may also participate in international conventions.

+ Works with vendors to arrange space, literature, hotels, equipment rental, and set-up and dismantling of the exhibit.

+ Plans and coordinates the routing of exhibits shipped for the convention program.

+ Develops plans, budgets, and generates reports providing information on cost-per-contact, audience profiles, and representatives comments.

+ Works with marketing and sales departments on show selection decisions.

+ Remains current on new trends in exhibit design.

**Must Have Minimum Requirements**

**_Experience and Knowledge_**

+ Bachelors degree

+ Minimum 3 years of work experiences, preferably in medical device or pharma industry

+ High degree of flexibility, adaptability and creativity

+ Results orientated with strong driving capability in a matrix organization environment

+ Business acumen, strategic thinking/ analysis and able to handle complexities

+ Strong team spirit with excellent skills in communication and coordination

+ Passion and positive energy

**Working Environment / Conditions**

+ Domestic/international travel will be required
