Should you be successful youll be joining Medtronic Cardiovascular Diagnostics Services team promoting an incredibly innovative product in Reveal LINQ across Victoria and Tasmania.


**A Day in the Life**


The Cardiovascular Diagnostics Services division is looking to recruit a talented Market Development Specialist in Victoria and Tasmania. This is a unique opportunity to promote a leading technology innovation in the form of Reveal LINQ. This product is an important diagnostic tool in the identification of cardiac arrhythmias and is a key product within our wider Medtronic cardiac rhythm management portfolio. This portfolio includes Pacemakers, Implantable defibrillators and cardiac ablation; all of which enable millions of people with cardiac rhythm disorders to live longer, better lives.


**Key Accountabilities:**


This is primarily a Sales and Market Development role. You will be required to call on cardiology and neurology specialists and build referral pathways.


**In this role you will:**


+ Partner with the broader Cardiovascular sales and marketing team for the coordination and execution of plans to fully leverage the Diagnostics product portfolio.

+ Develop and implement business plans and achieve sales goals and objectives.

+ Collaborate and align with relevant Business Territory Managers Clinical Territory Managers to create and execute on business plans as appropriate.

+ Build awareness with Neurologists.

+ Coordinate marketing development events with all relevant stakeholders.

+ Practice professional and effective territory management in specified territory in terms of building and maintaining relationships, selling and service, organization, administration and expense planning / control and reporting.

+ Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand

+ Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock.


**Must Have:**


+ Extensive sales experience (including proven market development) within the medical or pharmaceutical industries

+ Ability to assimilate clinical information and utilize clinical papers

+ Knowledge of account planning and territory management

+ Demonstrable track record developing and successfully executing on project plans and performance goals

+ Degree qualification are essential

+ Ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies that can be converted into new referral pathways and clinical protocols.


**Nice to have**


+ Background preferably in Cardiology and Neurology.
