**A Day in the Life**


The
Manufacturing trainers primary responsibility is to train identified employees
from Medtronic SMF site (Shanghai, China) to become operators for the
manufacturing line of Arctic Front Pro ablation catheters at SMF.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


+ Trainnew and existing SMF (Shanghai, China) employees on Manufacturinginstructions, quality procedures, standard work, and Health and Safetyproduction standards so the new employee can meet individual and teamproductivity goals while maintaining quality.

+ Certify operators as per SMF (Shanghai,China) procedure

+ Trainand certify SMF employees as Trainers as per SMFs procedure.

+ Evaluateand measure comprehension of newly training personnel.

+ Documenttraining records and lead by example by following documented guidelines,procedures and processes.

+ Reviewmanufacturing procedures for accuracy and provide feedback on complianceconcerns to Engineers.

+ Supportin the continuous improvement of the operator training experience, forexample, remote-training practice, and training video improvement.

+ Otherrelated responsibilities/tasks as requested by the project like support intesting builds at SMF.

+ Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive tonon-repetitive production assembly operations.

+ Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools toprepare product(s).

+ May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and testexperimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according tospecifications and under simulated conditions.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience


**Nice to Have**


+ Knowledgeof quality systems and good documentation practices

+ Experiencein working in Medical Device manufacturing environment

+ Comfortableto work with microscopic views and in cleanroom environment

+ Verygood communicator in French and English; Mandarin is an asset

+ Ableto read and write in French and English; Mandarin is an asset

+ Goodcomputer proficiency and working knowledge of Windows and MS Officesoftware

+ Confidenceto coach in person or via virtual meeting applications

+ Abilityflexibility to travel to SMF (Shanghai) for up to 60% of the time asper the project needs (each trip length will be minimal 3wk)

+ Previousexperience as a Medtronic catheter operator or trainer is an asset

+ Proficientas a catheter manufacturing operator with highly manual productionprocesses with track record of following quality processes

+ Abilityto handle multiple task track progress

+ Excellentcommunication, interpersonal and listening skills as a trainer/coach

+ Attentiveto details with good patience

+ Abilityto adapt to and/or work with a diverse workforce / people from differentculture e.g. Chinese
