Tempe Campus, located in Tempe, Arizona, is looking for a Technician IV tosupport Laserbond
Process Engineering.

**A Day in the Life**


In this
position, you will support shift sustaining process engineering in a 24X7
manufacturing operation that uses industrial lasers to bond microelectronic
devices. This is a night shift position
on a compressed work week schedule from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM.


Responsibilities
will include, but are not limited to:


+ Sustaining, characterizing, andqualifying laserbond processes/equipment. (Must have demonstrable skills andknowledge of industrial lasers, best practices for cleaning and handling optics,programming motion control hardware and statistical process control.)

+ Troubleshooting and resolving laserbondequipment/process issues

+ Performing fixture preventive andcorrective maintenance

+ Performing equipment qualification(installation/qualification), gage RR studies and documentation updates

+ Meeting operational attainment ofSafety, Quality, and Service goals.

+ Performing duties in compliance withenvironmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmentalregulations.

+ Identifying and work to removing barriers that slow or prevent thesuccessful completion of projects.


**Must Have Minimum Requirements**


+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and may requirevocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition toprior work experience


**Nice to Have**


+ Associate of Science Degree in a relateddiscipline or Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, MaterialScience, or similar technical discipline

+ Medical Device Quality Systems knowledgeand experience

+ Direct manufacturing experience withlaserbond equipment, microelectromechanical systems, or similar workexperience

+ Direct experience qualifying andsustaining laserbond process technologies, with relevant experience withprocess characterization, design of experiments, equipment qualification,statistical process control, and data analysis methodologies

+ Strong verbal and written communicationsskills

+ Demonstrated experience working in ahighly cross-linked technical work environment.
