Contribute to the overall Corporate Audit program by developing a working knowledge of Medtronics various businesses, products, and operations while utilizing field experience, business and industry knowledge, technical knowledge and interaction with others to assess the specific risks of each project from technical, financial, and operational viewpoints.


In this exciting position you will be able to apply your skills and auditing practices such as planning, testing, documenting the results and assist with publishing audit reports. This is also a great opportunity for you to work with global audit teams to enhance current practices, leverage technology industry best practices to build efficiencies in the process as well as develop evolve competencies in Policies Regulations applicable to Finance, Operations IT.

**A Day in the Life**


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


Aid in the completion of various technology, operational, and compliance audits, special projects, and activities in the Corporate Audit Group (planning, fieldwork/documentation, and presentation/reporting).

Scope and plan audits and projects based on risk.

Collect, analyze, and interpret information to assess and conclude on each assigned audit area with clear concise documentation.

Assist in preparing audit reports and communicate the results to multiple management levels (from business unit to Enterprise-level) including the issues and recommendations.

Continually build partnerships between Corporate Audit and the various functional areas and business units throughout the Company.

Complete special projects and assignments within the department as they arise.

When needed, assist in SOX testing related to IT General Controls within Medtronics Environment.

Maintain technical competence in current auditing practices (Finance Operations and IT), compliance policies, and government regulations.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of work experience in finance, information technology, audit, and/or compliance (Advanced Degree with 0+ years)


**Nice to Have**


Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or Business

IT auditing experience within a public accounting firm or Corporate Internal Audit Department.

CPA, CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certications.

Experience in risk assessment and evaluation of key enterprise-class technologies (e.g., networking, servers, databases, etc.) and/or enterprise applications (e.g., ERP systems, HRM systems, web framework technologies).
