The Minimally Invasive Therapies Group strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions. **A Day in the Life**

As the Inventory Planning Program Manager, you will lead the design and implementation of world class planning and replenishment processes to achieve objectives for service, inventory management, and operating goals. You will help to manage purchase orders, forecasts, materials, deliveries, and resolve conflicts related to inventory. You will work closely with Medtronics internal teams and Regions to manage inventory replenishment needs based on provided forecasts. You will also partner with our Distributor Operations, Finance, and Distribution Center Operations teams to meet shared goals.

You will:

+ Lead development and implementation of inventory management processes and procedures

+ Develop key performance indicators and reports for inventory monitoring and projecting monthly levels Manage material movements and delivery for consumables and capital requests

+ Collaborate closely with RD and Commercial teams to meet program inventory needs

+ Deliver operational results to internal stakeholders

+ Collect product forecasts and place purchase orders for consumables and capital requests

+ Implement and maintain practices that utilize system capabilities to balance inventory, consumables, and service

+ Drive for cross-functional continuous improvement in systems and activities from forecasting, warehousing, transportation, inventory management, replenishment ordering, and receipt of goods.

+ Collaborate with regional supply chain professionals to optimize inventory and improve service.

+ Ensure operational efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of the GRSS team.

+ Identify and advocate for necessary training and tools to achieve a world class team.

+ Identify and act on opportunities, issues, and problems in a changing environment.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Bachelors Degree in Management, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field plus 7+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or Customer Service including 3+ years in managing staff

+ Planning and inventory management experience

+ Knowledge of distribution, logistics, warehousing, and transportation in a highly regulated industry

+ Experience in MRP and ERP systems including JDA Manugistics, JDEdwards E1, SAP (APO, ECC)

+ Demonstrated use of Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

+ Experience establishing key performance indicators

+ Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong management and analytical skills

+ Ability to cultivate an environment focused on customer satisfaction, through building productive external and internal relationships

+ Experience with hands-on utilization of current supply chain software applications and systems

+ Strong project planning and management capabilities

+ Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders

+ Knowledge of finance, DC operations, sales, marketing, customer service, and distributor relation functions

+ Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
