**CONTEXT**
Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations.
**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**
As managing/lead consultant you coordinate all consultancy delivery activities within (1-2) clients and/or lead challenging stand-alone consultancy engagements of Medtronic for its subsidiary NGC Medical s.r.l. based in Turate (CO). You manage and drive full end-to-end transformation programs, operational excellence and pathway optimization projects. You are responsible for quality of consultancy delivery for those programs/engagements and act as the first line Medtronic liaison for your customers. You interface with their C-suite and senior management and understand their most pressing business problems. As such you are also the linking pin between IHS commercial business development colleagues and IHS consultancy for the clients you serve.
As part of your role you contribute to the further development of our consulting service offerings and play an important role in the professional development of the consultants in your delivery team(s) via on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Partner with strategic Hospital accounts to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations
Influence key stakeholders by developing well-articulated situation analysis and business case for change
Identify, frame and prioritize initiatives to capture value, and establish road-map and develop actionable plans / project portfolios for immediate improvement and costs savings
Manage full end-to-end projects / programs and performing day to day coaching and mentoring activities to the service delivery team
Periodically prepare portfolio reviews of the partnership program with steering com (IHS + customer) to track status, progress and measure economic value and customer satisfaction)
Drive implementation, coach and develop local project or staff resources
Capture learning and best-practices and continuously enrich Medtronic consulting toolbox
Identify and build new services and solutions that enable clients to improve outcomes and reduce costs of delivering care

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
Masters degree in relevant functional area
Excellent in English and Italian, other language skills are a plus
**JOB EXPERIENCE**
2-4+ years as consultant from a top tier consulting firm or high end healthcare consulting firm.
Extensive experience in the healthcare environment and in dealing with hospitals C-suite/Sr. Management/stakeholders
Strong and demonstrable program management skills: planning coordinating, communicating influencing, relationship building, achieving milestones, resolving issues and managing risks
Strong people management / coaching and mentoring skills to manage and develop talented teams
Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation, strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery
Experience of how to work and communicate in international environments preferably in Matrix
**SKILLS / COMPETENCIES**
Excellent generic consulting skills especially problem solving
Strong program management and change management skills
Distinctive people and team management skills with a strong team development and coaching ethos
Strong ability to develop and foster business relationships with continuously changing stakeholders and confidence to build trust based relationships with CEOs
Thorough knowledge of the decision making process within hospitals (physicians, C-suite, economic buyers)
Strong business acumen / linking pin to commercial business development
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
Willingness to travel within region and within EMEA (up to 50%)
