We are hiring a **Global Product Manager** will have world-wide responsibility for our oxygenator portfolio, the highest revenue generating part of the cardiopulmonary business, and other key products in the portfolio, becoming the in-house expert for these products. Responsibilities include managing global product portfolio strategy, launching new or enhanced products, developing key messaging and actions for the product line, and implementing product marketing plans to increase market share and profitability.

**A Day in the Life:**

Acts as the subject matter expert on oxygenators and other assigned products in the perfusion portfolio

Serves as a voice of the customer within the operating unit, with a relentless focus on customer experience

Serves as voice of business as marketing representative on cross-functional teams

Develops impactful product positioning and annual marketing plan

Develops and leads execution of a portfolio roadmap informed by customer segmentation, competition, and a broad set of business needs

Generates insights from disparate data sources, and creates reports and presentions for senior and executive leadership

Supports educational initiatives for both internal and external customers by preparing and presenting educational materials

Develops key technical and marketing materials to support global sales force and maintain frequent communication with them, providing high-value insights

Keeps current on new and competitive technology offerings in the marketplace

Defines customer requirements for product additions or improvements, or provide analysis for business development opportunities

Acts as an interface with demand planning and supply chain to manage supply/demand forecasting needs

Partners with geographies world-wide on account targeting and demand planning

Travels domestically and internationally in support of customer engagements and internal Medtronic activities up to 25% of time

**Must Have:**

Bachelors degree

4+ years of marketing, sales or technical experience (2 years with Masters)

Product or project management experience

**Nice to Have:**

MBA or related advanced degree

Marketing experience in medical device or healthcare preferred

Knowledge of oxygenators and other perfusion products helpful

Product launch experience

Strong technical aptitude in Cardiac Surgery and/or the clinical environment

Sales orientation or exposure to working with a high performing sales force

Experience developing and implementing marketing plans across geographies and product lines and customer types
