In this exciting role as an Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer I, you will haveresponsibility for implementing embedded software under the direction of a lead embedded software engineer for oximetry monitoring hardware.

**A Day in the Life**

+ You will design, develop, test, document, operate and maintain software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to oximetry platforms.

+ You will apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and wide range of products.

+ You will interface with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors Degree required with 0+ years of experience.

**Nice to Have**

+ Bachelors Degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering

+ Effective communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization

+ Excellent prioritization and organizational skills

+ Highly skilled in problem solving and analysis with high attention to detail

+ Ableto work in a team environment both locally and globally

+ Experience developing in Embedded C

+ Demonstrated development of microcontroller or other embedded applications

+ Able to apply engineering analysis techniques and tools (Matlab, Minitab, Excel, etc.)
