Preference is for position to be based onsite in Northridge but will consider US remote worker.

The successful candidate has a passion and aptitude for financial systems and a high attention to detail. Retrieve and submit data from/to multiple financial systems validate data to maintain data integrity. Generate routine and ad-hoc financial reports that are accurate, timely and meaningful. Maintain master data throughout multiple systems and perform periodic audits to ensure the validity of the data. Liaise with financial systems teams IT to understand systems mappings and their impact on reporting.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ High attention to detail and accuracy while meeting quick turnaround requests in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

+ Retrieve and validate financial information from a combination of Hyperion, SAP, Business Warehouse, Business Objects and other systems and offline excel data repositories

+ Submit and validate periodic forecasting and planning data into Hyperion-based financial systems and offline excel data repositories

+ Update, create and thoroughly validate routine and ad-hoc management reports

+ Maintain master data throughout multiple accounting, finance and HR systems

+ Perform periodic audits to ensure the validity of the master data

+ Develop an understanding of the financial systems and provide light system management support

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Bachelors Degree with2+ years of finance, accounting or systems experience with a bachelors degree (0+ years of experience with an advanced degree)

Nice to Have

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or IT

2+ years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in a medium to large organization

High attention to detail and focus on accuracy within a team environment along with the ability to work independently

Experience with Excel PowerPoint

Experience with Hyperion or an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system such as Oracle, JD Edwards or equivalent

Experience with SAP

Excellent data validation, prioritization and organizational skills

Thorough understanding of accounting theory and practice

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated success communicating throughout all levels of the organization
