This position reports to the Finance Director of Global Materials Category Management and Ops Sourcing, focusing primarily on financial planning and analysis, reporting, financial controls, strategic business partnering and external supplier negotiations supporting the Manufacturing Platforms.

The Global Supply Management organization manages ~$5B of annual global material purchases across the manufacturing sites. The position provides an excellent opportunity to drive value creation and cost savings by working closely with diverse business partners and external suppliers.

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Provide strategic partnering and decision support to the Global Materials Category Management and Ops Sourcing organization, including becoming a subject matter expert regarding all strategic sourcing processes (i.e., PPV, Material Savings, MAQ, RM Inventory)

Identifying incremental cost down opportunities related to materials and supplier related savings (i.e. reporting, modeling, financial insight)

Supporting cross-functional project teams with scenario modeling, NPV/ROI analysis and strategic recommendations.

Providing should cost modeling and make vs. buy analysis to evaluate pricing proposals

Supporting supplier negotiations with margin analysis and proposal modeling

Assessing supplier risk (i.e. dual sourcing initiatives, supplier financial risk assessments with sole/single source suppliers)

Drive/Implement continuous improvements in the reporting processes enabling focus on value creation activities

Support the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes.

Work closely with Supply Management business partners to set meaningful Material Savings and PPV objectives and identify opportunities in achieving those results throughout the year.

Lead Cost Center planning (i.e. Resources, Investments, Projects, Capital) for Sourcing teams.

Drive the monthly/quarterly fiduciary reporting of OPC results, cost down metrics and supplier related capital investments.

Lead presentations of financial results at MOR, business reviews and Global Townhall meetings to senior leadership as well as the larger business partner base.

Analyze, communicate and present period-end (monthly and quarterly) results:

Perform monthly analysis of sourcing financial metrics (i.e., Material Savings, PPV, Cost Center Spend, Project, Capital investments), including communication to Ops and Supply Management Finance leadership.

Drive compliance with SOX requirements regarding off-balance sheet reporting

Key activities include:

Monthly/quarterly analysis of PPV and Material Savings

AOP/Forecast planning for PPV (business partnering with Supply Management and Platform Finance)

Monthly/quarterly analysis and support of Supply Manangement cost centers

Capital Planning

Be part of a dynamic team to implement change, improve visibility, and drive impactful results across the supply management processes.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting OR Advanced Degree with 8+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting

**Nice to Have**


Operations Finance experience

Strong quantitative analysis and problem solving skills

Solid accounting (GAAP), financial and business management foundation

Experience with GFS, Hyperion Essbase, SAP, and JDE

Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Excel - including use of macros and lookup tables, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Strong organizational skills

High degree of initiative and self-motivation

Ability to interface in a team environment with various levels of management

High integrity and self-confidence

Exposure to Operations and/or accounting for Operations
