This is an Engineering Manager position within the new Pharma Process Development group of Medtronic. The role will focus on the development and growth of a team of Process Development engineers focused on developing new and improving existing processes for Combination products.

**A Day in the Life**
Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device and pharma products
May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products
Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies
Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products
Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release
Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended
Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development
Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery
Implements new product launches and product design changes
Executes on process improvements and remediation work for existing products at site.
Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
**Must Haves**
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of Engineering experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years of Engineering experience
**Nice to Have**
Engineering Management experience
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry
Dynamic, positive attitude
Motivational leader with the ability to assess and develop team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Solid presentation and computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Projects/AutoCad, etc.)
Strong project management skills
Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of projects
